In these Terms and Conditions:

  • “we” , “our” and “us” mean Red Rochet Pty Ltd, ABN 40 630 671 626 trading as Polished Cosmetic Clinic or www.polishedcosmeticclinic.com.au.

  • “You” or “Your” means you the customer.

These terms and conditions together with your order comprise an entire contract between us and you for the supply of skincare, body care or makeup products. This contract cannot be altered unless we agree to any alteration in writing or by email.

Eligibility to purchase

You must be at least 18 years of age in order to purchase products on this website. You must also possess either a Paypal or AfterPay Account, or a valid credit/debit card of type VISA, MASTERCARD or AMEX.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

When you place an order with us, this will automatically constitute your complete acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms and conditions including the right to expect that the products supplied are of satisfactory quality as well as matching the descriptions on our website.

Product Suitability

Some of the products we sell are not suitable for customers with certain conditions, for example pregnancy. These products are clearly marked with a caution on the product description pages as well as displaying this caution on the checkout Review Bag page.

Additionally during checkout when purchasing some products, some questions regarding your skin condition and specific medication you are currently taking, will need to be answered to ensure the suitability of the products you have chosen.

If we feel that the answers you have provided result in your chosen products being not suitable, a skin therapist will be in contact with you to either suggest an alternative product or a refund will be offered.

Placing an Order

To purchase products from our website use the “Add To Bag” buttons located on our product gallery pages or individual product pages.

Prices are current each time you make your purchase and cannot be changed prior to checkout.

You will carefully follow the steps during the checkout process ensuring all information you supply (including name, address, email, telephone and skin questions) are complete and accurate prior to completing payment for your order.

Payment for products must be made in full with a credit or debit card, or a Paypal account before your order can be processed for shipping. For payments made with Paypal where there are insufficient funds in the Paypal account, the payment may have a status of “echeck”. Echeck payments will not be processed until the funds are cleared and this can take 3-5 business days to complete.

When using a credit or debit card you must be the owner of the card and have sufficient funds to cover payment.

We will validate any payment you have made by data we receive from our payment gateway. This validation will be required before your order can be processed for shipping.

When you complete your order, you agree that you do so subject to these terms and conditions which are current to the date you submit your order. It is your responsibility for reviewing our terms and conditions prior to submitting your order as we reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.

When your order is placed you will receive by email a confirmation of your order. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address entered at the time of order is correct, otherwise you may not receive our correspondence. If you believe you have entered your email address incorrectly please contact us at [email protected] immediately.

The email confirmation of order is for informational purposes only. We may in our discretion refuse to accept an order for any reason, including unavailability of supplies or we may offer you an alternative product (in cases where products are unsuitable for certain skin conditions). We will advise if you will need to resubmit any order under these circumstances.

If you discover that you have made a mistake with your order please contact us at [email protected] immediately to ensure we have time to make amendments. Once your order has been shipped amendments cannot be made. However you may still qualify for a return within 14 days of purchase. Please refer to our Returns page for full details of our returns policy.

Your Account

Every customer who purchases products from our website will have their own individual login account which may be used to track the progress of any order as well as viewing a history of past orders.

There is no requirement to register an account with us prior to making a purchase, as we will automatically use the email, name and phone contact data entered during the checkout process, to create your account for you. You will be sent an email containing your new account details which will contain a link back to our website for the purposes of setting up a password for your account.

When a subsequent order is made by a customer who is not logged into our website, whose email address matches the email of an existing account, then that order will be associated to the matching existing account.

Orders placed before 1:00pm AEST/AEDT

Any orders placed before 1:00pm AEST (time in Brisbane Australia) on a Monday-Friday will be shipped the same day for products which are in stock. Products are marked as IN STOCK or STOCK ON ORDER in the individual product description pages.

If a product is not in stock when you place your order, we will notify you and advise when your product will reach our premises and when your order can be shipped.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for purchase on our website with the following conditions:

  • Gift Vouchers can only be used to purchase products.
  • Gift Vouchers can only be purchased in Australian dollars
  • Treatments are not valid with Gift Vouchers. Please contact us if you wish to purchase a treatment voucher
  • Your recipient does not need to use up the entire original value of the voucher in a single purchase. Remaining values on vouchers may be used on subsequent purchases.
  • Value of a Gift Voucher can be between $10 and $999 AUD
  • Gift Vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase

Promotional Mailouts

We reserve the right to email our customers with details of any promotions we have from time to time. Customers are added to our mailing list after they make their first purchase, or by directly subscribing to our mailing list using the form details at the bottom of each page on our website.

Upon receiving an email for such promotions you will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe from our mailing list.

Force Majeure – Circumstances beyond our control

We are not liable to you for any incident which will delay us from carrying out our obligations under these terms and conditions if this delay is caused by events which are beyond the reasonable control of Polished Cosmetic Clinic. In this case you will grant us sufficient time to execute our obligations.

Skincare advice without face to face consultation.

We will provide skincare advice for online customers by phone or by email. This may involve suggestions to use certain products from our website based on the information you provide to our skin therapists in order to treat your skin concerns. However, it is not always possible to prevent you from having adverse skin reactions to any of our products when a face-to-face consultation has not been carried out. We will not be responsible for any adverse reactions to your skin under these circumstances. In certain situations refunds may be provided.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any amendments will appear on this page and continued use of this site as well as purchases on the site will be deemed as acceptance of the amended terms and conditions.
